BNV : লোকরা দায়ূদকে বলল, “দেখুন, পলেষ্টীয়রা কিযীলার বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করছে| তারা ফসল ঝাড়াইযের জায়গা থেকে সব ফসল লুঠপাট করে নিচ্ছে|”
KJV : Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshingfloors.
YLT : And they declare to David, saying, `Lo, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and they are spoiling the threshing-floors.`
RV : And they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and they rob the threshing-floors.
RSV : Now they told David, "Behold, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and are robbing the threshing floors."

BNV : দায়ূদ প্রভুকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “আমি কি পলেষ্টীয়দের সঙ্গে লড়াই করব?”প্রভু উত্তর দিলেন, “হ্যাঁ, কিযীলাকে বাঁচাও| পলেষ্টীয়দের আক্রমণ কর|”
KJV : Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.
YLT : And David asketh at Jehovah, saying, `Do I go? -- and have I smitten among these Philistines?` And Jehovah saith unto David, `Go, and thou hast smitten among the Philistines, and saved Keilah.`
RV : Therefore David inquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.
RSV : Therefore David inquired of the LORD, "Shall I go and attack these Philistines?" And the LORD said to David, "Go and attack the Philistines and save Keilah."
ASV : Therefore David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And Jehovah said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.
ESV : Therefore David inquired of the LORD, "Shall I go and attack these Philistines?" And the LORD said to David, "Go and attack the Philistines and save Keilah."
ERVEN : David asked the Lord, "Should I go and fight these Philistines?" The Lord answered David, "Yes, go attack the Philistines. Save Keilah."

BNV : এদিকে দাযূদের লোকরা দায়ূদকে বলল, “শুনুন, আমরা যিহূদায় থাকতেই বেশ ভয় পাচ্ছি| তাহলে চিন্তা করুন পলেষ্টীয় সৈন্যদের সঙ্গে মুখোমুখি লড়াইতে আমরা আরও কতখানি ভয় পেতে পারি|”
KJV : And David’s men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?
YLT : And David`s men say unto him, `Lo, we here in Judah are afraid; and how much more when we go to Keilah, unto the ranks of the Philistines?`
RV : And David-s men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?

ERVEN : But David's men said to him, "Look, our men are afraid here in Judah. Just think how afraid we will be if we go to Keilah, where the Philistine army is lined up and ready for battle."

BNV : দায়ূদ আবার প্রভুকে জিজ্ঞেস করলো| প্রভু বললেন, “কিযীলায চলে যাও| আমি তোমাকে পলেষ্টীয়দের হারাতে সাহায্য করব|”
KJV : Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
YLT : And David addeth again to ask at Jehovah, and Jehovah answereth him, and saith, `Rise, go down to Keilah, for I am giving the Philistines into thy hand.`
RV : Then David inquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
RSV : Then David inquired of the LORD again. And the LORD answered him, "Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will give the Philistines into your hand."
ASV : Then David inquired of Jehovah yet again. And Jehovah answered him, and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thy hand.

ERVEN : David again asked the Lord. And the Lord answered David, "Go down to Keilah. I will help you defeat the Philistines."

BNV : তাই সঙ্গীদের নিয়ে দায়ূদ কিযীলায গেলেন| তাঁর সঙ্গীরা পলেষ্টীয়দের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করল| যুদ্ধে তারা পলেষ্টীয়দের হারিয়ে তাদের গরু, মোষ সব দখল করে নিল| এভাবেই দায়ূদ কিযীলার লোকদের বাঁচালেন|
KJV : So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
YLT : And David goeth, and his men, to Keilah, and fighteth with the Philistines, and leadeth away their cattle, and smiteth among them -- a great smiting, and David saveth the inhabitants of Keilah.
RV : And David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and slew therewith a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.

ERVEN : So David and his men went to Keilah. David's men fought the Philistines. They defeated them and took their cattle. In this way David saved the people of Keilah.

BNV : (যখন অবিয়াথর দাযূদের কাছে গিয়েছিলেন, তখন তিনি তাঁর সঙ্গে একটা এফোদ নিয়েছিলেন|)
KJV : And it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, [that] he came down [with] an ephod in his hand.
YLT : And it cometh to pass, in the fleeing of Abiathar son of Ahimelech unto David, to Keilah, an ephod came down in his hand.
RV : And it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand.

BNV : লোকরা শৌলকে বলল, “দায়ূদ এখন কিযীলায আছে|” শৌল বললেন, “ঈশ্বর দায়ূদকে আমার হাতেই দিয়েছেন| দায়ূদ নিজের জালেই নিজেকে জড়িয়েছে| সে এমন একটা শহরে গেল যেখানে অনেক ফটক এবং ফটক বন্ধ করার অনেক খিল আছে|”
KJV : And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.
YLT : And it is declared to Saul that David hath come in to Keilah, and Saul saith, `God hath made him known for my hand, for he hath been shut in, to enter into a city of doors and bar.`
RV : And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.
RSV : Now it was told Saul that David had come to Keilah. And Saul said, "God has given him into my hand; for he has shut himself in by entering a town that has gates and bars."

ESV : Now it was told Saul that David had come to Keilah. And Saul said, "God has given him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by entering a town that has gates and bars."
ERVEN : People told Saul that David was now at Keilah. Saul said, "God has given David to me. David trapped himself when he went into a city surrounded by a wall with gates and bars to lock them."

BNV : শৌল তাঁর সব সৈন্যদের যুদ্ধ করার জন্য ডাকলেন| তারা দায়ূদ ও তাঁর লোকদের আক্রমণ করার জন্য কিযীলায যাবার জন্য প্রস্তুত হলো|
KJV : And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.
YLT : And Saul summoneth the whole of the people to battle, to go down to Keilah, to lay siege unto David and unto his men.

BNV : শৌলের এই মতলব দায়ূদ জানতে পারলেন| তিনি যাজক অবিয়াথরকে বললেন, “এই খানে সেই এফোদ আনো|”
KJV : And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.
YLT : And David knoweth that against him Saul is devising the evil, and saith unto Abiathar the priest, `Bring nigh the ephod.`
RV : And David knew that Saul devised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.
RSV : David knew that Saul was plotting evil against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, "Bring the ephod here."

ERVEN : David learned that Saul was making plans against him. David then said to Abiathar the priest, "Bring the ephod."

BNV : দায়ূদ প্রার্থনা করলো, “হে প্রভু ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, আমি শুনেছি শৌল আমার জন্য কিযীলায এসে শহর ধ্বংস করার মতলব করেছে|
KJV : Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.
YLT : And David saith, `Jehovah, God of Israel, Thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul is seeking to come in unto Keilah, to destroy the city on mine account.
RV : Then said David, O LORD, the God of Israel, thy servant hath surely heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.
RSV : Then said David, "O LORD, the God of Israel, thy servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah, to destroy the city on my account.
ASV : Then said David, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, thy servant hath surely heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.

ERVEN : David prayed, "Lord, God of Israel, I have heard that Saul plans to come to Keilah and destroy the town because of me.

BNV : শৌল কি কিযীলায আসবে? কিযীলায লোকরা কি ওর হাতে আমায় তুলে দেবে? হে প্রভু ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, আমি আপনার সেবক| দয়া করে আমায় বলুন!”প্রভু বললেন, “শৌল আসবে|”
KJV : Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
YLT : Do the possessors of Keilah shut me up into his hand? doth Saul come down as Thy servant hath heard? Jehovah, God of Israel, declare, I pray Thee, to Thy servant.` And Jehovah saith, `He doth come down.`
RV : Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD, the God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
RSV : Will the men of Keilah surrender me into his hand? Will Saul come down, as thy servant has heard? O LORD, the God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant." And the LORD said, "He will come down."

ERVEN : Will Saul come to Keilah? Will the people of Keilah give me to Saul? Lord, God of Israel, I am your servant. Please tell me!" The Lord answered, "Saul will come."

BNV : আবার দায়ূদ জিজ্ঞেস করলো, “কিযীলার লোকরা কি আমায় এবং আমার লোকদের শৌলের হাতে ধরিয়ে দেবে?”প্রভু বললেন, “হ্যাঁ, ধরিয়ে দেবে|”
KJV : Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver [thee] up.
YLT : And David saith, `Do the possessors of Keilah shut me up, and my men, into the hand of Saul?` And Jehovah saith, `They shut [thee] up.`
RV : Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver up me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver thee up.
RSV : Then said David, "Will the men of Keilah surrender me and my men into the hand of Saul?" And the LORD said, "They will surrender you."
ASV : Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver up to me and my men into the hand of Saul? And Jehovah said, They will deliver thee up.
ESV : Then David said, "Will the men of Keilah surrender me and my men into the hand of Saul?" And the LORD said, "They will surrender you."
ERVEN : Again David asked, "Will the people of Keilah give me and my men to Saul?" The Lord answered, "They will."

BNV : তখন দায়ূদ সঙ্গীদের নিয়ে কিযীলা ছেড়ে চলে গেলেন| দাযূদের সঙ্গে ছিল 600 জন পুরুষ| 60 তারা বিভিন্ন জায়গায় চলে গেল| শৌল জানতে পারলেন দায়ূদ কিযীলা থেকে চলে গেছেন| তাই তিনি আর ওখানে গেলেন না|
KJV : Then David and his men, [which were] about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went whithersoever they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he forbare to go forth.
YLT : And David riseth -- and his men -- about six hundred men, and they go out from Keilah, and go up and down where they go up and down; and to Saul it hath been declared that David hath escaped from Keilah, and he ceaseth to go out.

ERVEN : So David and his men left Keilah. There were about 600 men who went with David. They kept moving from place to place. Saul learned that David had escaped from Keilah, so he did not go to that city.

BNV : দায়ূদ মরুভূমিতে গিয়ে সেখানকার উঁচু পাঁচিল ঘেরা দুর্গ নগরে কিছুকাল থেকে গেলেন| তিনি সীফ মরুভূমির পাহাড়ি দেশেও থাকলেন| প্রতিদিন শৌল দায়ূদদের খোঁজ করতেন; কিন্তু প্রভু শৌলের হাতে দায়ূদকে সঁপে দিলেন না|
KJV : And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.
YLT : And David abideth in the wilderness, in fortresses, and abideth in the hill-country, in the wilderness of Ziph; and Saul seeketh him all the days, and God hath not given him into his hand.
RV : And David abode in the wilderness in the strong holds, and remained in the hill country in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.

ERVEN : David went into the Desert of Ziph and stayed in the mountains and fortresses there. Saul looked for David the whole time, but the Lord didn't let Saul catch him.

BNV : সীফ মরুভূমির হোরেশে দায়ূদ গেলেন| শৌল তাকে হত্যা করতে আসছেন বলে তিনি বেশ ভয় পেয়ে গিয়েছিলেন|
KJV : And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David [was] in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.
YLT : And David seeth that Saul hath come out to seek his life, and David [is] in the wilderness of Ziph, in a forest.
RV : And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in the wood.
RSV : And David was afraid because Saul had come out to seek his life. David was in the Wilderness of Ziph at Horesh.
ASV : And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in the wood.

ERVEN : David was at Horesh in the Desert of Ziph. He was afraid because Saul was coming to kill him.

BNV : কিন্তু শৌলের পুত্র য়োনাথন হোরেশে দাযূদের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে গেল| য়োনাথন দায়ূদকে ঈশ্বরের ওপর বিশ্বাস রাখতে সাহায্য করেছিলো|
KJV : And Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.
YLT : And Jonathan son of Saul riseth, and goeth unto David to the forest, and strengtheneth his hand in God,
RV : And Jonathan Saul-s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.
RSV : And Jonathan, Saul's son, rose, and went to David at Horesh, and strengthened his hand in God.
ASV : And Jonathan, Sauls son, arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.

ERVEN : But Saul's son Jonathan went to see David at Horesh and encouraged him to have a stronger faith in God.

BNV : য়োনাথন দায়ূদকে বলল, “ভয় পেও না| আমার পিতা শৌল তোমাকে মারবে না| তুমি হবে ইস্রায়েলের রাজা| আমি হব তোমার দ্বিতীয় জন| এমনকি আমার পিতাও সেটা জানে|”
KJV : And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.
YLT : and saith unto him, `Fear not, for the hand of Saul my father doth not find thee, and thou dost reign over Israel, and I am to thee for second, and also so knoweth Saul my father.`
RV : And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.
RSV : And he said to him, "Fear not; for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you; you shall be king over Israel, and I shall be next to you; Saul my father also knows this."
ASV : And he said unto him, Fear not; for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.
ESV : And he said to him, "Do not fear, for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you. You shall be king over Israel, and I shall be next to you. Saul my father also knows this."
ERVEN : Jonathan told David, "Don't be afraid. My father Saul won't hurt you. You will become the king of Israel, and I will be second to you. Even my father knows this."

BNV : য়োনাথন এবং দায়ূদ দুজনে প্রভুর সামনে এক চুক্তি করলো| তারপর য়োনাথন ঘরে ফিরে গেলো| দায়ূদ হোরেশে থেকে গেলেন|
KJV : And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.
YLT : And they make a covenant both of them before Jehovah; and David abideth in the forest, and Jonathan hath gone to his house.
RV : And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.
RSV : And the two of them made a covenant before the LORD; David remained at Horesh, and Jonathan went home.
ASV : And they two made a covenant before Jehovah: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.

ERVEN : Jonathan and David both made an agreement before the Lord. Then Jonathan went home, and David stayed at Horesh.

BNV : সীফের বাসিন্দারা শৌলের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে গিবাযায় এল| তারা শৌলকে বলল, “দায়ূদ আমাদের দেশেই লুকিয়ে আছে| দায়ূদ যেশিমোনের দক্ষিণে হখীলা পাহাড়ের ওপর হোরেশের দুর্গে রযেছেন|
KJV : Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which [is] on the south of Jeshimon?
YLT : And the Ziphites go up unto Saul to Gibeah, saying, `Is not David hiding himself with us in fortresses, in the forest, in the height of Hachilah, which [is] on the south of the desolate place?
RV : Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in the strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of the desert?
RSV : Then the Ziphites went up to Saul at Gibeah, saying, "Does not David hide among us in the strongholds at Horesh, on the hill of Hachilah, which is south of Jeshimon?
ASV : Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in the strongholds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of the desert?
ESV : Then the Ziphites went up to Saul at Gibeah, saying, "Is not David hiding among us in the strongholds at Horesh, on the hill of Hachilah, which is south of Jeshimon?
ERVEN : Some people from Ziph went to Saul at Gibeah and told him, "David is hiding in our area. He is at the fortresses of Horesh on Hakilah Hill, south of Jeshimon.

BNV : সুতরাং হে রাজন, যে কোন দিন আপনি আমাদের এখানে চলে আসুন| দায়ূদকে আপনার হাতে ধরিয়ে দেওয়া আমাদের কর্তব্য|”
KJV : Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of thy soul to come down; and our part [shall be] to deliver him into the king’s hand.
YLT : And, now, by all the desire of thy soul, O king, to come down, come down, and ours [is] to shut him up into the hand of the king.`
